The Superman Glitch Returns In Call Of Duty Warzone 2.0

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

It’s been less than a week since Warzone 2.0 launched and reached a new milestone for player stats, but players are quickly discovering that the battle royale is far from perfect. First we had the invisibility glitch, rendering players invisible to others and causing a nightmare for those downed in the process. Now though, the infamous Superman glitch back in Warzone.

The Superman glitch does pretty much what you expect it to – minus the cape and eye powers. This technical hiccup permits players to cross large areas on the map in one hop, sailing through the air like Clark Kent’s alter-ego Superman from the DC Comics series.

Microsoft Intends To Keep Call Of Duty On PlayStation

November 10, 2022

In one clip, Twitter user Jake Lucky shared a montage of Superman glitch footage which demonstrates the bug in action. “Movement kids have figured out how to ‘Superman’ in Cod MW2,” he captions the footage. Players can make extraordinary leaps into building windows, soar through the air in a blur, and take unsuspecting players by surprise to claim a kill.

At the time of writing, Raven Software has yet to highlight the issue via its online Trello Board. This glitch, like the invisibility bug, has a lengthy pros and cons list to go along with it. It’s beneficial should a player need to cross wide spaces to avoid the gas cloud, but it could ruin your game if you’re in a 2v2 against a glitchy opponent at the end of a match.

The clip seen below from Warzone demonstrates exactly how frustrating the glitch can be when it works against you. A player encountered the bug and it seemingly forced them off a roof in a 1v1 match.

The Superman Jump glitch has been in Warzone for months now, with many players purposefully using it to jump building to building.

But players like @iamExpel have discovered that the glitch doesn’t always work in your favor, when it pulls him off a building during a 1v1 pic.twitter.com/55gcAGG5iq
