You can obtain six Sylkis Greens in the Dustbowl. While you only need three, you can use the rest to purchase Chocobo gear from Esther. Each piece of equipment can provide a unique buff to your mount, and I highly recommend you buy them all.

The hardest and the most time-consuming way to get one Sylkis Greens is by helping the owner of the House of Cards. The man asks you to beat three powerful Queen’s Blood players at the Dusbowl bar. If you don’t like playing the card mini-game, you should avoid this method. 

You can encounter a group of provocative men near the bar where the three Queen’s Blood players hang out. They will bother Cloud if you get too close, but you can enter the house to your right and then walk through a tight gap to challenge these guys. This is the fastest way to get your first Sylkis Greens.

Next, you can speak with the bartender near the notice board. He will give you a key to his untended garden where you can discover another Sylkis Greens. Unfortunately, a passing Cactuar takes the vegetable before your eyes, and you must chase it to its nest to get it back. The battle is quite challenging since Cloud is fighting alone.

Playing the Desert Rush mini-game will also grant you a bundle of Sylkis Greens. You must destroy as many boxes as possible within the time limit, and you can get the Sylkis Greens by reaching the first target. However, you may also get Tifa‘s weapon, Dragon Claws, if you get the highest target.

Another quick but tricky way to get a bundle of Sylkis Greens is by participating in the Swindling Seminar. You must guess which con artists are speaking the truth by investigating their claims. Each guess will cost you 500 Gil, so make sure that you are not wrong.

Lastly, winning the Beast Underground battles will also award you with Sylkis Greens. Just jump into the open hole and speak with the guy before the door. You must beat several stages before you face Test 0 and claim your reward.
