Thankfully, this is where the Rubber Armor Set comes into play with its shock resistance ability.
Assuming you want to get hold of the complete said Armor Set, keep reading our Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom guide to know more!
How To Get The Rubber Armor Set
The Rubber Armor Set consists of 3 pieces: Rubber Armor(Chest Piece), Rubber Helm, and Rubber Tights. Below we have explained in detail on how to get each one of them:
Where To Find Rubber Armor(Chest Piece)
The Rubber Armor lies within a specific cave named Whistling Hill Cave, which is in the middle of the Whistling Hill and Lake Kolomo. So, once you’re in the said area, you’ll see that breakable rocks block the cave entrance. Without any hesitation, use a Hammer or a Bomb Flower to break those rocks and get inside the cave quickly.
As you walk along the pathway inside the cave, you will find some vines blocking your way, so cut them off with your sword and continue walking until you end up in a small room-like area. From there, use your Ascend ability to get through the platform right above you, but be careful from a hanging Like Like, which is waiting for you at a very short distance!
Run up the pathway, defeat the Like Like using weapons you feel like, and break through the rock formation before you. Finally, you will be left with only one enemy to deal with: an Electric Like Like. This particular enemy can attack you with penetrating electric balls that force you to drop your weapons. The best you can do is get closer to it, use an Ice fruit to pin down the Like Like and use the best attacks to finish her off quickly.
Eventually, you can collect Rubber Armor(Chest Piece) from the chest behind the breakable rock formation!
Where To Find Rubber Tights
Moving on to the next piece, Rubber Tights is one of the most effortless pieces to find. As shown in the screenshot image above, you will find the said Armor piece in the Horon Lagoon Cave, which is situated in the Lanayru Sea region.
What you need to do is approach the Cave entrance from above and use your paraglider to get inside it without taking any fall damage. Now since this particular cave is filled with Water all over, you need to swim along the pathway, and eventually, it will lead to an area with a breakable rock formation in there.
Get near the rock formation and break the rocks using Bomb Flowers to get inside the blocked area. And finally, you can collect what you seek, Rubber Tights!
Where To Find Rubber Helm
In order to complete the Rubber Armor set, you need its last piece as well, which is the Rubber Helm. You can find the said Armor piece in the Sarjon Woods cave, which is near West Nelcuda. Refer to the screenshot image above to get a better glimpse of the cave location.
Now, before you move inside the cave, we recommend you equip yourself with Stamina recovering meals as your journey to the end requires a lot of swimming, and you might need to replenish your Stamina mid-way. That said, make your way inside the cave by cutting off the vines, then swim along the pathway until you discover a Like Like and a Bubbulfrog.
Destroy the Bubbulfrog and Like Like to avoid any problems during your exploration. Then, continue along the pathway, and soon you will end at the bottom section of the cave. This is where your reward lies! Walk up to the chest right in front and claim your Rubber Helm.
